Product Development The ITW Global Appliance Group’s focus is product development.Bring us your design problems and we will bring you solutions. Each business in the Group has a staff of competent engineers and technical sales people who work as a team to develop products that meet the customer’s requirements. Extensive in-house prototyping capabilities allow design concepts to be verified and tested quickly. Sample tools can typically be produced in three weeks to supply parts for pilot runs. The resources of ITW Technology Center are available to all business in the Group for projects that entail new technologies or manufacturing methods. Through a secure intranet, each business in the Group has access to the capabilities and expertise of all 600 businesses that make up the ITW Corporation. |
